![]() ![]() Good freaking luck getting the hang of this one. it's like infinite kickback, right? Haha NO. But in those outlanes there is a rollover, and the moment the ball strikes that you have a split second where the bizarro flippers become active, and you can use them to shoot the ball right back out of the outlanes and get it back into play. You know, the outlanes that drain the ball. These are perfectly vertical things (seriously, no angle AT ALL), which is odd enough for a flipper. My favorite example is the concept of "rescue flippers". But Zaccaria? Hoboy you're gonna see some freaking strange things in here. With very "safe" designs that never stray from the norm too much. While I like Zen's stuff, I find them to be a bit. Note also that the general style of the tables is very different. If you're just starting out with pinball in general, this is not the way to go. this is definitely a bit more niche than Zen's stuff. These table layouts are bloody tough.Īll of that can be a tough sell for some players. Catching it is far more difficult, and you'll have to use reaction shots often.Īnd once you've managed to get things under control, you still have to deal with a lot of very difficult shots that you'll need to make to score big. ![]() On top of that, the ball moves at warp speed and bounces way more. If you want to get anywhere at all in this, you MUST learn to nudge properly, because that's the difference between a high score and a nearly non-existent one. Zaccaria tables expect you to nudge them. It REALLY wants to drain, and you'll have to fight it tooth and nail to keep it from doing so. Your main challenge will be keeping that ball alive at all. but moreso about doing combos and missions.īut here? Things are different. The challenge in a Zen table isnt so much about keeping the ball in play. Over in FX3, the physics are very forgiving, it's easy to catch the ball without it bouncing out of your grip, and the table designs are forgiving and make for long sessions. This is VERY different from how Zen's stuff works. It's going to redefine pinball table difficulty for you, by pounding it into your face over and over and over again. You think you're a pinball wizard because you got a high score on some Zen tables? Zaccaria is going to humble you. Let me just state something right off the bat: Zaccaria tables are hard. Who knows how much time I have in that at this point. I started off with the Switch version, actually, complete with *all* of the content. ![]() Note that I have way, way, WAY more time with this than what my Steam hours show. Okay, I've been waiting quite awhile to write this review. ![]()
